6600gt quadro fx 540

clipped from forums.guru3d.com

"Extended GeForce to Quadro PCI DeviceID mapping lookup table for NV40 and NV43 graphics processors (for AGP models only). Now all NV40 / NV43 based display adapters are converted to Quadro FX 4000 / Quadro FX 540 when automatic Quadro PCI DeviceID programming mode is used."

I read this in the new release text and the 6600GT is a NV43 chip.
Yes I tried the thing with "unlocking Professional acceleration" and it works, but i want that my 6600GT is identified as a quadro. Maybe there comes more bandwidth because the similiar quadro have much more. :)
hi guys

6600 AGP(HSI PCI-E->AGP ) is a very special case , PCI Device ID of this card is not software programable . that's the reason why this card always be identified as a 6600GT (00F1).
but fortunately the "unlocking Professional acceleration" works . So don't worry about the name , Quadro feature is there and you can install the MAXTreme for 3DMAX .
